Drumdewan Cruck Cottage is situated near the historic village of Dull in stunning Highland Perthshire just outside the market town of Aberfeldy.

Dull is the site of a monastery set up in the 7th century by Saint Eon`an after arriving from the religious settlement on the island of Iona. Drumdewan is Gaelic for the `place of safety` and was at one time surrounded by 3 stone
crosses. Today, as well as safety, you can find luxury, utter comfort and a fantastic place to unwind.

This 300 year old B listed, single storey Cruck Cottage has just been completely renovated to the highest standards whilst retaining the original cruck beams and original character and is the ultimate in luxury for the discerning couple whether on honeymoon, a romantic break or just to get away from it all.

No expense has been spared in the decoration of the cottage, the fittings or the wonderfully landscaped garden. This idyllic 5 star experience will leave you refreshed, invigorated and rejuvenated and wanting to come back for more.

The contemporary and tasteful decoration of the kitchen/sitting room is complemented by the granite worktop, solid oak wooden floor and wood burning stove whilst the bathroom has designer fittings, a luxury power shower and under floor heating.

The light and airy bedroom has a Velux roof window with views to the stars.

The grand king size bed is lavishly furnished with sumptuous quilts and top quality bed linen. Both the sitting room and bedroom have wall mounted digital LCD TV screen.

The cottage has stunning views to Glen Lyon and Ben Lawers and is set in its own private landscaped garden with a barbeque and an amazing stone table constructed from a huge slab of stone buried in the original floor of the cottage. It is near to the Highland Adventure Safari Lodge, organic Farm Shop and
Café where guests benefit from preferential rates for award winning safaris into the surrounding mountains and off-road driving on a hilltop course.

There are preferential rates at Kenmore Golf Course and the area has various excellent restaurants and bars.

There are amazing walks and cycle routes of all grades together with water sports on nearby Loch Tay. Exciting activities abound in this spectacular part of the heart of Scotland and around every corner are magnificent views of
mountain and forest.

Oozing warmth and charm, Cruck Cottage is a perfect honeymoon cottage or an ideal getaway.
